Hmm since the new update I feel lishogi is lagging is it for all?

You most likely have bad internet. Or are you using some old browser or some old version of a browser.

ohk btw @YoBot_v2 is Stockfish 11+ HCE the only engine in lichess to analyze variants game

For variants no one has made a multi variant stockfish nnue js version or a fairy stockfish nnue js version, so it does use only stockfish 11 wasm classical eval (that is hce).
