Best time control for a beginner?

Hi - What would be the best time control for a total beginner at shogi? (I'm an intermediate player, ~1800 classical on lichess).

Something with byoyomi would be good, since it's the most common time control, and also gives a good mix of time and time pressure in the endgame.

I'd recommend 15|60 or 15|30. At least 30 second byoyomi to give some time to think in the endgame (60 is good) and somewhere between 10 to 30 minutes main time (although I feel 30 minutes is a bit long personally if you want to play more games, as you should as a beginner).

I think that one way of the good time control is to study opening book moves and strategies like Bougin(棒銀) and Migishikenbisha(右四間飛車) Senpou (Climbing silver tactics? and Right Fourth File Rook strategy? ).
You can save more time at opening game and can spend more time at ending game by learning them.

By the way, I'm maybe an intermediate player.
I hope that I understand correctly what you mean here.

Any rapid or classical time control is always suitable for beginners, but with some byoyomi or fischer increment it is very helpful for beginners. Longer time allows more time to think on each move.
