It's a checkmate. You have no where to move your king. Works just like it does in chess.

I think OP means "what went wrong? How could I have prevented this outcome?"

A question that I'm not really equipped to answer in any amount of depth, but based on computer analysis: When you moved your bishop on move 78 to 64, your king went from slightly vulnerable to very vulnerable. From there it was just a matter of time. (At our level, anyways.)

you missed your chance to break through using the most elementary tesuji of bougin- as in you missed the one purpose of the exact attack you were making. i would recommend to review the tesuji often used by bougin and stop focusing on material.
