I propose a system similar to Shogi Quest's 詰めチャレ(tsume challenge).
The situation of your King is irrelevant.
The only thing you have to do is to mate your opponent King(forced mate).
I think it is easy to extract from games.
The AI automatically responds to your moves, so there are no extra problems.
If you can't make an forced mate, it's incorrect.
I' m not a developer, so I apologize if I'm saying something strange.
Feature Request: puzzles like 詰めチャレ(tsume-chare)
If I’m right after looking at the past few commits to lishogi’s source code (which you find here github.com/WandererXII/lishogi ) a tsume storm (something similar to puzzle storm from lichess I assume lichess.org/storm ) is coming up soon. This commit message gave me the first hint github.com/WandererXII/lishogi/commit/20786bb64371704ff13909ebed500addc5adecb3 . Once it is deployed it should be on lishogi!!
What karakoro describes is very different from lichess's Puzzle Storm.
What is being described here is a series of positions where the only thing you have to do is to mate. The engine plays the strongest moves on behalf of your opponent (like the "Practice against computer" option for custom positions or in studies.)
Length doesn't matter; even if there's a mate in 3, if you can somehow deliver mate in 47 you still succeed.
And karakoro's further suggestion is to generate these positions from games (to a first approximation, from any position the engine evaluates as forced mate?)
For those familiar with Tiantian Xiangqi, it is like the 楚汉争霸 series of endgame problems there.
Sorry got carried away with the ‘puzzle rush from chess.com’ mention.
hope there is also puzzle racer!
