Points in the Puzzles?

Why are the points awarded so inconsistent? The "Hardest" puzzles have been giving me fairly easy ones, and each of them are worth exactly 1 point.
Meanwhile, I got 27 points from an "Easier" puzzle, and generally 7ish for "Normal."

Anybody else?

Maybe by mistake the hard puzzles were added into easiest and easy puzzles added into hard? 👀
