international black and white set for chu shogi but not standard shogi?

I don’t understand….the beautiful international black and white set which is for chu shogi can easily be adopted for standard shogi. So why hasn’t this set been made available for standard shogi? Can somebody explain to me the logic of this omission? Posters are talking about this on the pychess site..
