I'm relatively new at Shogi but I played occidental chess a long time ago and it definitely helps. I started here playing the engine at low level but I noticed that it was also making inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders. That's why I decided to play it at level 8. Better learn from the best hey? 😉

What is "Average centipawn loss"?

Also, I seem to have a default ranking of 1500; how do I get a better estimate of my actual ranking?
