Hi! This is an announcement from our neighbors at Pychess!
We'll be holding the first Tori Shogi arena tournament at Pychess! It will take place on Sunday 10/3 at 1200 UTC. Games will be 5 minutes + 20 second byoyomi. The tournament will last 2 hours.
As far as I know, this will be the first Tori Shogi tournament since one was held in the UK almost a decade ago (2009?)!

Don't be intimidated as most players will be pretty new to the game too. You also have plenty of time to practice against the AI or other players until the tournament!
