i don't find chu shogi fun. it is too convoluted, and the hollistic way does not work in this practical modern age. i would love to go a few rounds against anybody who wants.(i memorized all of the pieces, too easy:) )

I quite liked chu shogi. But i dont think it would get a lot of players since beginners would have to learn even more new pieces and it takes quite some time before it gets fun. There are a lot of smaller board variants which are very fun and i am already excited to see if or which will be added. I for myself really enjoyed playing Tori Shogi with friends. A 7x7 variant.

Chu shogi and Tai Shogi are not possible to play online. And although coding such a Big Variant would be really difficult for Lishogi Devs.
