玉 - Jade (kit. 玉, pinyin yù, pall. Yu (often inaccurately translated as jasper) is traditionally extremely highly regarded by the Chinese, who call it the "stone of life" and consider it their national stone. Jade in China was valued above gold and silver, as it was believed that it has a healing effect, brings well-being and symbolizes the highest human virtues.
