Keybinds for piece drops or promotion

Instead of dragging a piece from the piece stand, it would be much easier to include an option to drop a piece like this: press keyboard 1 for pawn, 2 for lance, ..., 7 for rook, then click on a square to drop the piece. A similar system may work for promotions or underpromotions (perhaps promote by default, and use keybind to unpromote). This system does not exist on lichess, but since piece drops and promotions are much more common in shogi than chess, this may be helpful.
