Heian shōgi

Heian shōgi is, from that, what I know, the first shōgi variant played on board 8x8 or 8x9 (or pherhapes 9x9). If you play on 8x8 or 8x9 , you have got 22 starting moves , which is bigger number, than in chess (20). Heian shōgi is more calm than shōgi and chess (there are not rook and bishop) and Heian shōgi is longer. There are not any drops and every pieces(with out of king) promote to gold general. Pawns can be starting(pieces) on third rang and gold general starts on right side.
We can try it playing on forum to get more knowladge about it. I offer to play on board 8x8 with pawns on third rang by sending natation, playing quickly, and about six moves in one day and the longest time for move can be two days.
