Why did Gote resign here?

I was watching a video from suzuki-eisyun channel and after the sequence of pawn moves played by Sente, Gote resigned. I think Gote can still play but what do you think? Also the sequence of pawn moves is crazy, but I think I kind of understand that it is activating the bishop and forcing Gote to make hard decision like how to defend the knight's head.

I would agree that there is counterplay. So would the computer. Gote I guess just had better things to be doing.
