is there a way to adjust bot speed? it spends like 10-30s thinking at times. there are times it only uses 1 second. is there a setting?
No, as far as I know there isn't any setting for that.

@ladyontheshogiboard , I think he is talking about playing againgst the computer.
I love that the app isavailable but the last week or so the time taken for the computer to make a move is so slow it makes playing unenjoyable.
I see what you mean. I just played a game against FairyStockfish level 2 and it definitely took its time. Some setting must have been modified.
There's also something wrong with the computer analysis: it didn't detect obvious blunders and mistakes in this game:

@ladyontheshogiboard , It doesn't seem flag mistakes for me either when I play against the computer but I don't really remember if it ever did.
(This part of the answer is for everyone) The computer was also noticeably slow spending over three times more time than I did in a single game. Also I tried it on shorter time controls of only 3 minutes after that but it still wasn't moving the pieces quickly enough to finish this game: lishogi.org/embed/gKCdG5M1#5?theme=auto&bg=auto
I wonder if the computer/bot is running the computing on the server side instead of locally in our devices so that it could potentially get slower because it's doing the computing of multiple games in one server and having a harder time. I also wonder if that is the case when some players here have multiple games with the computer/bot suspended so they can be resumed if that also is putting stress on the computer/bot over at the server?
