Ban this player please

I think it's funny that people go through this much work just to trick the system. And their reward isn't money, or any gained knowledge, but only a png image on their worthless profiles. It's even funnier that nothing has been done until now. I suppose it went unnoticed because the variants are not of much interest to most players, and reporting them doesn't seem to do much good anyways.

All that is none of my concern, though. If one only wants to play and relax, this site offers everything you could wish for. Most of us are here for Shogi, but tricksters play a different game from ours.

I assume that he realized that it was silly to create so many accounts just because of the profile picture (he hasn't logged into his account for 7 days). Cheaters quickly get bored of playing because they as soon as they get the image, they run out of goals, and they're usually too lazy to learn how to play.

I will never be able to show this website to my staunchly Christian grandma who just recently got into Shogi. Damn you, spammers!

The guy who tagged you seems like a good candidate. LizardWizard indirectly stopped the spam wave this time, and he logs on every day (judging by his icon), so making him a mod would be a fitting role for him. He also financially supports this place, so we know he's trustworthy. Just my two cents.

Yeah I saw that comment & reported; now I know how to do it so will do from now on when I encounter such a thing.

It would be handy for the moderators to be able to erase such comments, or that they automatically disappear when the account is banned because of trolling, just a thought.
