How to evaluate shogi positions? like imbalances in chess.

need to know accurately.

anyone know about this??

how many factors in there?

@CandleChess Although in both shogi and chess, material is quite important, shogi is quite a bit different. The drop rule means that material becomes much less important, as material can move from one player to another, and pieces in-hand can be much more valuable than pieces on the board. I think many people will agree with me when I say that in shogi, your initiative and attacking speed are the two most important factors. I have won many games by sacrificing down material for initiative. Evaluating a shogi position usually requires much more calculation than evaluating a chess position to account for this sharpness.
