First of all, I NEVER did it in the past, but now I'm here, because this question needs to be answered for me.
Obviously, engines are in no case allowed, but some Chess sites permit the help of opening books and/or learning material when playing Correspondence games, something I disagree with but I don't really care because I don't play Chess.
What is lishogi's official stance of any outside assistance in Correspondence games? We already can use the analysis board, but can we, let's say, crack open a database and look for ourselves what the optimal move was in the position we're having? Can we go to a Shogi club and bring up the topic to see if someone can help us out, since correspondence games can go on for weeks. So please, since I expect to stay on lishogi forever and one day might really wanna start studying the game, you know, with real, physical books and a board beside me, I request to have this question resolved, preferably by someone from the staff. Thank you, for any answer.
