Shogi Book Resourse

Is the story below a chance encounter or written in the stars?

I met Rodger an author of shogi books in a Library in the outskirts of Manchester by pure just over a year ago. Initially, I went to speak to him as he had music software on his laptop, and he was sitting near me.
After 10 mins chatting, he told me he writes shogi books, and I told him I play shogi in Tokyo each time I visit.
We also both had purchased the shogi book series by Tony Hoskins.

Rodger is authors of shogi books & content available with links provided below.

Roger recently threw together a short Shogi Resources document for a new player. He also posted it on the DropBox archive.

The URL is:

www.dropbox.com/s/w9y3gwyn40tn31l/Shogi%20Resources.pdf?dl=0

It's basically the Bibliography from the 'Introduction'. It extra sources of information not found via standard shogi resources.

Please can I correct the name Rodger to Roger in my recent post a few weeks ago. I spelt the author’s name wrong.

Thanks for all the resources. There are also a lot of resources shared on the ShogiHarbour discord.

The only additional comment Roger has is that he is the author of one Shogi 'book'. All the other 'books' are edited compilations of work by others.
