But it did not funtion

The issues with Pychess is that it uses a standard Crazyhouse-style notation that is not used in shogi at all. An online converter would convert from one of the two types of standard Western shogi notation, both of which use a different coordinate system. You would have to write your own script, or input the moves manually into lishogi.
