Byoyomi is garbage

Hello. About the cheating part, it looks rather rare here or at least difficult to hide as in crazyhouse chess if the comparison is possible. I started shogi recently after taking a break from lichess (where cheating really is getting too depressing past 2500, whatever they say)
At least here i find a chance to play in a much more light hearted way since i feel no heavy competition as in FIDE games or lichess training games, and shogi is even greater for calculation training. Hope this feeling won't go away.
I'd be happy to get some data about shogi cheating if you have some, so that i get a more precis idea. thanks

Since I signed up here I encountered 14 confirmed cheaters. And 12 of them were regularly playing games with long, extended time controls. Some were taking thirty seconds per move right from the very beginning, some only started consulting the engine when their normal time ran out. Just thinking about this tremendous waste of time makes my blood boil, but most cheaters appear too mentally slow to operate two devices at once in a considerate amount of time.
