Chu Shogi League: First Season

The Chu Shogi League is a new tournament being held twice a year.
Players are split into three round robin groups (A, B, and C) , the number of players in each depending on how many sign up.
Each season is 4 months, within which time each player plays 3-5 games, at a 30+30 (Fischer increment) time control. At the end of two 4 month seasons, the top two players in Group A play a three game "title match."

ALL GAMES WILL BE RATED, WITH NO TAKEBACKS ALLOWED, EVEN FOR MOUSESLIPS. I strongly suggest turning on move confirmation in settings.

ADJOURNMENTS: Players can agree on adjournment, but if at least 200 moves have been played in a session, one player can force an adjournment, as long as there is time left in the season to finish the game at a later date.

There is an expectation that participants continue to play in following seasons, although this is not mandatory. If new players join in between seasons, they will be added to group C.

At the end of a season, the bottom 2 players in group A demote, and the top players in B and C promote.

The rules are still unfinished, so we are open to suggestions and discussion. The start date is also not confirmed. Most likely the tournament will begin after the Classical Swiss 3rd Edition ends.
