Setting an almost white image,we're not capable of identifing the letters since they're only the same color
for the users setting bright pictures, pleaze add another version like its letters are black
desire the black letter for the transparent background
I just tried it with this imgur.com/download/AizUHEf/HD%20WHITE%20BACKGROUND and the letter shadowing really helps. Also I think it’d be hard (or impossible?) to detect whether a user is using which custom transparent background. You could try light mode, which has black letters. Light mode seems more better for delicate eyes(?) or those with eye problems and is neatly formatted by lishogi!
Hmm why is it technically impossible to make the letters black?I think the light mode's letters can be a help....to transplant them to the new model of transparent background or just adding the color reverse system are not able to be done?
And the pic you gave is just whole white...?
I mean the more bright the picture is, we get uncomfortable more like the color of the letters is the same as it(when it's transparent background mode the letters are only white I said it again only wanna the new version of the transparent background mode having black letters)
#3 idk for sure whether it’s possible or not. Just doesn’t seem easy to detect what has been manually added as a transparent background by users and whether it is light theme based or dark theme based or neural. That’s why there is text shadowing for transparent background. To make it readable. Maybe if you know how and what needs to be done you could contribute here github.com/WandererXII/lishogi .
#4 yup the pic is whole white (burns the eyes, not joking). Well I do agree it does get uncomfortable with an entire white background and white text too, and that’s why there are dark background that you can add instead or use dark mode. Not sure why light text was chosen for transparent background (cuz majority use dark mode/dark custom backgrounds?), but text shadowing helps in identifying the text. Also if you want a purely white background I suggest light mode. It isn’t perfectly white but should serve the purpose(?). github.com/WandererXII/lishogi
Wait, dunno there was Text Shadowing Mode,is it available when we set the transplant background? How can I set that?
It is set by default when using transparent background. The text just has a slight shadow so that it is easy to make out the text.
...?is it always set when we use the transparent background(free images)?
even for me now?
Yup always. See this image using perfect white background. The text is slightly shadowed to be readable...
ok but,I still feel uncomfortable with the letters as I use complex images like characters, wanna make the new version,I guess it's not a tough thing
