Static Rook (Ibisha) is an umbrella term for a number of opening systems in shogi where the rook largely remains on the right side of the board, as opposed to Swinging Rook (Furibisha) where it rotates to the left side, or Central Rook (Nakabisha) where it plays in the center.

  2. LucHi Lily, this is a fantastic study, congrats! I'd like to ask you something:
  3. LucIn chapter 9, move 3, you said that Central house is occasionally played against some rapid attacks in 3rd file rook
  4. Lucdo you know of any game with these strategies clashing? I mean, with Central house being used as a countermeasure against Ishida/3rd file ?
