There was a special tournament a while back. They called it bougyoku "棒玉 - Climbing King", a parody of a real opening called bougin "棒銀 - climbing silver"

@Toodle Not to double post, but there is also a setup-based opening called "Duck Legs castle", which is pretty funny sounding. It's not super strong, but it has some tricky variations that can take an opponent off-guard if they don't know how to respond.
