Chū Shōgi Rule Oddities

Looking through the rules in www.chushogi-renmei.com/kouza/kouza_main.htm?utm_source=pocket_saves, I found some interesting rules. Note that I was using Google Translate to read it, so I might be completely wrong about any of these. But it seems that there are the following rules:
* In a correspondence game, a lance can be promoted when moving to the last rank from within the promotion zone even when not capturing. It seems this rule is there because of something regarding software implementations.
* Checkmate is a victory condition, and it seems that capturing a lone royal piece is only relevant when a player accidentally blunders that royal piece. Presumably, if a player has both a king and prince and manages to blunder such that the opponent can capture them both simultaneously, the opponent could win by capturing both.
* There are anti-perpetual-chasing rules similar to xiangqi's. I don't trust Google Translate to translate them accurately, so I'm not going to try to understand or explain them.

Oh, also, the official rule is that a non-lion can capture an unprotected enemy lion even if a lion was just captured by an enemy non-lion. But it seems that there is some discussion about changing the official rule to the rule used here.

So far, I don't see any conflict rules. There do be some different rules in Chu about promotion, LION's capture, repitition and checkmate.
