Another coincidental story following my previous post. Please read my previous post below:

Here is my second true story that occurred this week.
I was at summit of Taku mountain on Monday 4th August 2026. I was looking out on the view of Tokyo in the distance. A group of around 8 young men in their early 20s were stand in there speaking German. I explained about the Shogi European tournament on
07.08.2026 in Germany.
ESC/WOSC 2026
Liborianum, A den Kapuzinern 5-7, 33098 Paderborn, Germany. fesashogi.eu/calendar/
It turned out that Paderborn was their home town!
I hope I inspired them to take up shogi!
ps
If you live in Europe have you considered catching EuroRail to Paderborn to catch a few days of the tournament as a spectator, there are plenty of friendly shogi games in break out areas too! The Shogi pros can apply handicap system during the friendlies.
You can't post in the forums yet. Play some games!
