What would you think about atomic shogi, anti-shogi, and tandem shogi?
I think those variants would be intresting for younger players since it would keep the standart peices but dont make the game more complex of itself
(i assume these are based on the respective chess varients with the same name)
anti-shogi and tandem shogi could be fun but i feel like there isn't much of a need for atomic shogi because it would be way too similar to checkshogi
its also worth noting that all of the varients on this site have long histories and the devs might not accept new variant ideas
I want Shogi 960, where the pieces are randomly shuffled on their home ranks. I tried out a couple of games against the computer where I set up the pieces manually and it's both a fun and refreshing take on the game.
