That would be like mixing sushi and steak together. Both are fine on their own but together they don't mesh well.

Anyway, you can't just ask “what if Shogi and chess meged together” and then not elaborate. I could think of many ways this could occur, many of which are imbalanced or unfun. What exactly do you mean?
