Kawasemi vs YaneuraOu

So it's been a while but I forgot to upload the result of the game.

I couldn't challenge the kawasemibot as an anonymous so I just did it from my main account but I resigned as soon as I thought there was a checkmate found by Yane-chan. The analyse board says there is mate in #22.

Tell me if you're interested in a game where YaneuraOu starts Gote,

I think it's an interesting game as Kawasemi's evaluation function seems to be more material-based, while strongest engine priories the position and tends to sacrifices a lot of pieces. You can see that Yane-chan sacrifices the rook at the begining of the game to win a gold instead, and the analysis board still thinks Kawasemi is worse.

It's also interesting to notice that the computer analysis doesn't agree with the local analyser in the analysis board by over-estimating YaneuraOu's advantage.

YaneuraOu is one of the well-known top-tier engines among all AIs,though Kawasemi's play strength is also capable but there still remains an insurmountable gap compared to YaneuraOu.

My actual skill sucks so I also engrossed in watching battles between AIs and learn skills from them, but I sadly discovered that KawasemiBot is a relatively weak engine by top AI standards, however these elite engines(like YaneuraOu、suisuo5、elmo、YSS、alphazero、apery、gikou etc.) represent the crystallized synergy between programming elites from tech conglomerates and the strategic mastery of world-class professional players,to create KawasemiBot entirely through individual capability is nothing short of extraordinary.

Regarding the rook-for-gold exchange, it’s essential to recognize that a piece’s combat effectiveness depends more on its positional dynamics than nominal value—its an common scene and can be easily demonstrated through practical play.

Recently a friend help me located the download source for the engine suisuo5(http://garnet-alice.net/programs/whalewatcher/history/index.html),Its technological prowess has attained such chillingly formidable heights that it presents an existential threat to YaneuraOu's dominance, now my computer has become a digital colosseum for breathtakingly bloody battles of hyperdimensional brilliance

Plus:Among all engines on lishogi, the YaneuraOu(analyzing mode) is the strongest, if u organize the Kifu urself by using the analyzing mode, you'll find that the Level 8’s moves still have flaws coz its difficulty was intentionally lowered to be beatable by human players, however in May 2017, legendary Shogi player Yoshiharu Habu suffered a 0-2 defeat against PONANZA in a public match. This event marked the definitive arrival of the era where AI comprehensively surpasses humans and notably, PONANZA was still utilizing the MCTS algorithm at the time. Now the advanced NNUE algorithm, currently adopted by the YaneuraOu engine in Lishogi analyzing mode, was introduced to shogi AI in 2020, triggering a revolution that dramatically increased the strength of all shogi AIs.
