Today some things happened which prompt me to close this account and maybe return some day in the future, when I'll have matured a bit more.
1. I realized that I despise Byoyomi so much, that it actively destroys the fun I have in Shogi. In my narrow worldview, byoyomi SPOILS this game. Sadly, most open challenges in the lobby are with byoyomi, so either I wait for an eternity, or I reluctantly accept a byoyomi game because I'm sick of waiting. But byoyomi games are usually nerve-wrackingly slow and tedious, so if I lose THAT game, not only do I feel that I've lost some points but also my valuable time.
2. I lost over 100 points in my Puzzle rating. Now every time I log on I would have to see that huge slope in my rating chart. Damn, Lishogi's puzzles are constructed that way, that only one certain checkmate is valid, while another checkmate makes you lose points. Pardon my french, but that's horseshit. If I'll ever open up a new account, I'll keep my fingers from Puzzles, lesson learned.
3. And the most petty reason: I just botched a correspondence game against a 4-dan. I had him 2 moves from checkmate, I thoroughly analyzed the position, but, ha ha ha, still managed to fail the execution. Another lesson learned: Stop playing games with time controls so long that it feels like you lost your firstborn son when you make such a game-deciding blunder.
Lishogi, I love you, and I sometimes take this game too seriously. Have fun, take care, everyone!

I do hope you come back some day as it was fun playing against you, but I understand and respect your decision, well this is where we go our separate ways I guess
Also, I'm pretty sure most puzzles are only supposed to have 1 solution, so you could technically just tell the mods, and also 3) is how I felt that one time I nearly won against you last week, well I finally did win against you but not in the way I wanted...
