This site feels kinda empty sometimes. Does anyone of us know how we could recruit more players from Japan and elswhere to our sacred shores?
From my own experience, I can say that I learned about this game in the summer of 2025. I just sat and watched interesting teams on Lichess, came across a Shogi Students team, then read about the game, found this website, and now I play here regularly. So far, I haven't encountered any issues with this website.
