Hi, I'm new here and I just stumbled on this topic. Nobody's worried that this seems to happen only to Japanese players? Could the flagging be glitchy? Has this possibility been investigated?
And why would anyone cheat knowing that they will be caught anyway, damaging their reputation and risking banishment? 🙂
Well japanese players are normaly stronger tahn any other players- So of course they 99% did not cheat
I can lishogi grow if we bully away japanese players. The japanes society works for not a small part on reputatiom. SO we shouldnt tank ours
BTW i had once a different problem here, alltpugh it had conections to japanese culture and i asume we may have rotten eggs who dislike japanse culture(altough not shogi in some cases) and japese people in general. SO those players my mass report japanese player to harras them lie i was mass reported too

@loliconchess Oh, flagging is not automated in case of cheating? It's made by people? Honestly, I thought an AI would survey the games to deter cheaters. Real cheaters. 💡
How can someone accused of cheating defend themselves against bullies that flag them because they don't like losing or else?
And how can it be proved that someone actually cheated in a game?
@capricornis Every report is reviewed by real people, and if you abuse the system you get kicked out. Unfortunately anonymous players can still cheat without fearing consequences, but in all the thousands of games I played here against members, maybe only 15-20 people were noticably cheating against me and most of them are gone now. The system isn't perfect but it keeps cheating to a somewhat acceptable minimum.
