For the last weeks, I had a problem with the post-game computer analysis. The blue arrows that show the five best moves only appear for about the first 8 too14 moves. After that, the analysis seems to run endlessly and no more blue arrows are shown for the whole post game analysis.
Before this started, the blue arrows worked for the entire game. In my opinion, this feature was the best tool for post-game analysis and helped me a lot for understanding my mistakes.
Could anyone please let me know if this is an intended change, a bug just on my side, or something that might be fixed in the future? That would be pretty great ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

Is this for local computer analysis, or "request a computer analysis"?
Thanks for your reply. I’m not fully sure what you mean by “local post-game analysis,” but the issue seems to happen everywhere.
In the past, the blue arrows showing the best moves were visible even before requesting a computer analysis. Now they don’t appear anymore — and even after a requested computer analysis is finished, the blue arrows still don’t come back.
I also checked older games that I’m sure I reviewed with blue arrows before. The same problem appears there, even though those games had a computer analysis requested months ago.
When I play a new game and request a new computer analysis, the blue arrows also don’t show up — neither before nor after the analysis.
I also know that the number of blue arrows can be adjusted in the settings. However, even when I reduce the number to 3 or fewer, it still doesn’t work. I’m also sure the arrows are not turned off, because they do appear for the first few moves, just not later in the game.
I’ve logged in and out of my account a few times over the past two weeks, but nothing has changed as well.

If you are running a shoginet client instance, you will need to update the instance and setup. Feel free to open an issue to ask for help with the setup. I will also be providing client keys on request."
The analysis function was updated on December 31, 2025, which may have caused issues.
おそらく同じ現象がiOS(iPhone)で発生しています。(iPadOSは問題なし) ローカルエンジンの読み込みに失敗し、序盤などはクラウドにキャッシュがありますが、キャッシュがない場合では解析できないようです。
私の記憶が正しければ、これは新年の更新より前から問題が起こっていたように思えます。
The same issue is likely occurring on iOS (iPhone). (iPadOS is unaffected) The local engine fails to load, and while parts like the opening have caches stored in the cloud, it seems unable to analyze when no cache is available.
If my memory serves correctly, this problem appears to have existed before the New Year update.

I also checked, and the issue is not only happening on my iPhone(iOS), but also on my iPad(iOS).
Is there any way to know how long this bug might remain?
Will it stay until the next update, or is a fix planned sooner?
