-Time control: 30'+30"
-Swiss system, 5 rounds;
-Playoff criteria: Direct Encounter, Buchholz Cut1, Buchholz;
-The Tournament will start the 1st of October 2025, and the rounds will be as follows:
Round 1: From October 1 to the 15th of October;
Round 2: From October 15 to the 31th of October;
Round 3: From November 1st to the 15th of November;
Round 4: From November 15 to the 30 of November;
Round 5: From December 1st to the 15 of December.
-Every round will therefore last 15 days (besides the second round that will have 16 days).
Important note: the last 3 days of every round are for emergencies only, just in case there was no chance to play the game earlier; thus, when scheduling the game at the beginning of the round, players shall not schedule it using those last 3 days but must first try to play it within the first 12 days.
-The games must be ranked games; Those who starts the game as unrated will be required to reschedule and replay the game;
-Adjournment is allowed. To make things easily manageable, one single adjournment can be requested per game with the opponent being forced to accept it; However, for any further adjournment of the same game, both players must be ok with it in order to re-adjourn the game. If the player that receives the offer doesn't want to adjourn once again, he/she can keep playing at his/her will.
-At the beginning of the round, players are requested to write down their preferred time to play, in an appropriate thread on this forum created for each pair, offering at least 3 different times/day combinations. Please, do it as soon as possible to avoid delays.
- All times should be written in UTC format (no local timezones abbreviations like CET, EST please). Players are responsible for correctly converting their local timezones to the UTC. If a player miscalculated the scheduled time in UTC and got late/absent on it, that player is at fault and is considered late/absent, so please always double-check the time and take into account possible daylight switches.
Further rules:
-Unfinished games are considered not played, therefore that's a forfeit loss. Who gets the forfeit loss, is decided by activity and punctuality of the player. If both make bad duties to their tournament obligation, both are forfeited.
-Maximum allowed time for being late to the scheduled game is 30 minutes. In case your opponent is being late for more than 30 minutes, you are no longer obligated to wait for your opponent. In that case please report about the absent opponent in the designated forum thread for your pairing in the round. Also please make evidence (screenshots) of your opponent being absent with your local time displayed, to provide on request.
-Players cannot offer a draw at any time. If for some reason a draw is offered, the other player HAVE to decline it.
Also, no unreasonable artificial draw via position repetition is allowed. If one has happened, the arbiter can on his own decide the game violated the sports ethics and in that case, both players are forfeited.
As a reference, repetition rules have been reasonably depicted by @dax00 as such:

Registration will be closed on Sunday, 28th of September at 00:00 UTC. Pairings for the first round will be published on the same day. As stated above, each round will have 1 forum thread per pair, where they will state their preferences of times and day of playing. To avoid too much of a mess on this "generic" forum, we will use the Chu Shogi WC forum for the pairing threads.
for all matters not governed by these rules, the arbiter (myself, DoubleD91) and his second (AlexTrick) decisions will be final. For any questions feel free to contact us either via Lishogi private message or directly on Discord.
All the players are strongly encouraged to join our Chu Shogi discord server for faster communication.

Sorry to ask, how to participate, I couldn't find it in the text.
Just writing here is the way to go, I'll count you in.
I'll add, in particular for the beginners, please be sure to play the tournament "seriously" and not leaving after 1 or 2 round. In the past we have had a couple of beginners that didn't show up at the scheduled game and left without notice; needless to say it's quite annoying, also affecting people's tiebreak scores.
Having said so, you are welcome in this tournament and in the Chu Shogi community :)
Thanks a lot for the explanation.I will play
