@Cute_Cupcake Please tell me a valid reason why anyone would watch yt, let's be real. You only get addicted and your brain will rot inside your skull.

As someone struggling with this myself, I know where you're coming from. The site is designed to maximise watch time at the cost of your sanity. However, there are some good videos on the site. For example, Gotham Chess is very good at teaching, and his ongoing slowrun series is quite good (just ignore some of his other videos).
I personally use an extension to block the recommended videos in the sidebar, after the end of the video, and on the homepage. It makes it a lot easier to focus on what I actually came to the site for.
@COArSe_D1RTxxx , I agree, GhothamChess amazing and his content is both entertaining and instructive.
I think that youtube is a great source of information and that you can learn a lot from it. For example, I watch other shogi players and learn from them on youtube, and it has helped me a lot.
Nah i think we have mutch better chesstubers than gothamchess
I decided to ignore him after he became a hypocrit
