When will it be possible to play chu shogi with a computer here?

I don't think it will be possible, since very few engines are designed to analyze Chu Shogi positions, and even that it still would take a lot of time to analyze the positions because there are too many pieces and too many variations of >50 moves (I checked, a Chu Shogi game lasts 300 moves).

Actually, the engine already exists, it is HaChu.
But there are compatibility problems described here lishogi.org/blog/post/Y6kTwxEAAKKgP_sV

> There is a great chu shogi engine - HaChu. But there are few problems currently, preventing me from integrating it into lishogi. It uses different protocol (XBOARD) than our other engines (USI), but more importantly it implements certain rules slightly differently. If there is enough demand for integrating HaChu into lishogi, I will start working on that.

The client allowing to play Chu Shogi with a bot exists. It is ChuDo. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to it here.

I think it is possible,But this computer is probably very stupid.Because chushogi requires too much computer power. So even with a computer, it is almost equal to Novice.Even idiots.

Just try it already implemented ChuDo. If you want, I'll send you the link to it.
But you would need Win 7 or older because on Win 10 it will be crashed.
You may use a virtual machine with Win 7, though.

P.S. Not too stupid computer engine, quite playable.
